Bellamy CD review continued
Grandmother’s God vibration is really high. Wings of the Wind is my next favorite. What a nice tribute to bikers on their journey’s far from home. A beautiful prayer for a safe journey home. Ah, Hippie 3 version is so funny. It is like listening to your life story, except we’re all now Grandma’s and Grandpa’s. Spiritually Bankrupt is what is going on right now. Drug problem makes you think. Beautiful Night is moody and romantic. Let Your Love Flow is a remake with an Island feel. Where do a couple of cowboy’s come up with reggae in the middle of the state of Florida? There are no islands here. Read their bio and you’ll find out. Howard and Dave were doing the Island Thing way before anyone else made it popular. They also mentioned the Fiji Islands on the CD. I have actually been to Fiji. Did you know the friendliest people in the world live in Fiji? I was taken back to the time I was sitting in the chiefs house on a mountaintop village. About 30 men were singing in harmony like I have never heard before. Bula Bula Bula, in Fijian means Hello, We Love You, Life is Great! You see what I mean about this CD? Maverick’s in their day and once again they have proven their insightful nature with this new CD. If life has made you feel a little uneasy lately , too much uncertainty in the world got you down, then I have the cure for you. Whatever you call it, something is coming. You can feel it and the Bellamy’s not only write about it, sing about it and swing it out, they Live it! Amy 1-08
